Ginger Tisane

Ginger Tisane

Serves: 1 • Time: 10 minutes

Ginger is known for its restorative and medicinal properties. A tisane, or an infusion of herbs and spices, is a perfect nightcap or cure for an upset stomach.


  • 3 slices of lemon
  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • 1 Tbsp. ginger paste
  • 1 tsp. honey


Combine all the ingredients in a small French press or teapot. Bring 1 cup water to just below a boil. Pour into the French press and allow to steep 7 to 10 minutes, depending on how strong you like the ginger flavor. Strain into a warmed mug or teacup.
