  • 1 can of cooked Briosa Codfish 
  • 5 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • A jar of  El Navarrico Tumaca fresh tomato spread (you can also use diced tomatoes too!)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2-3 Tsp of olive oil
  • 1/2 a Tsp of red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 a tsp of coriander
  • 1 Tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp of salt


Use a medium to large pot and turn up the heat to medium-high to get it hot. Then peel and cut the potatoes, onions, and garlic so everything is ready to go.

Heat the oil in the pot, and add the garlic and onions in, and stir frequently to avoid burning the garlic. Continue cooking for about 5 minutes or until the onion is translucent.

Add the potatoes and let those cook for about 10 minutes, to get brown and soft.

Add the tomato spread, and sauce and 1 cup of water and stir well.

Put in the hot sauce, coriander, paprika, and salt and stir in.

Turn the heat up and let it all cook together for 15-20 minutes and stir frequently. But in the last 5 minutes drain and put the cod in to break it down and get those flavors mixed together.




This eclectic tuna pasta sauce recipe will bring an internationial mix of flavors to your table with Espinaler Tuna, Kilkai Extra Virgin Olive Oil and El Navarrico Tumaca fresh tomato spread!


  • 375g/13oz dried linguine
  • 4 tbsp Kilkai Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 small chilli pepper, finely chopped
  • 1cm/½in fresh ginger root, thinly sliced
  • A jar of El Navarrico Tumaca fresh tomato spread (you can also use diced tomatoes too!)
  • 1 Tin of Espinaler Light Tuna fish in oil, drained and roughly chopped
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper


Cook the pasta for 8-10 minutes or until al dente, and drain.

Meanwhile, heat the oil and gently fry 2 tablespoons of the parsley, the garlic, chilli and the ginger for a few minutes until slightly soft.

Add the tomatoes and continue to cook for another few minutes. Stir in the tuna and salt.

Toss the pasta with the sauce and serve sprinkled with the remaining parsley and freshly ground pepper.
