Serves: 2 • Time: 15 minutes

There no such thing as a Labor Day grilling party without barbecue—or dessert to finish the meal. This one features Bazzar’s creamy and indulgent açaí dessert spread.

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 bananas, cut on the diagonal in ½-inch slices
  • 1 cup frozen yogurt
  • 4 Tbsp. açaí dessert sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. chopped cashews

1. In a large skillet over moderate heat, heat the butter. When the butter begins to bubble, add the sugar and stir to combine. Carefully add the bananas and cook until caramelized, about 5 minutes.

2. Arrange the bananas on two serving plates. Add the frozen yogurt and açaí sauce. Sprinkle the chopped cashews over the top and serve.

Located in the Ipanema neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, Bazzar is a sophisticated Brazilian restaurant that serves modern versions of traditional dishes. Their spreads, available for purchase on Try The World’s shop here, are made from local, premium ingredients.
