MATERIALS
- 1 piece of paper
- Scissors
- Brown or tan felt
- Pins
- Red ribbon
- Needle
- Red thread
- 2 black beads
DIRECTIONS
1. Draw the outline of a goat onto a piece of paper and cut it out, then trace the shape onto the felt 2 times. Cut out the 2 goats and pin them together. Tie the ends of the ribbon together and sandwich the ribbon loop between the two pieces of felt.
2. Thread the needle with the red thread and tie a knot at the ends of the thread to secure. Pierce one layer of felt from the inside and pull the thread all the way through so that the knot is sandwiched between the 2 felt layers.
3. Continue to sew the 2 pieces of felt together, making sure to keep the stitches evenly spaced and the ribbon securely fastened.
4. Sew 2 beads onto either side of the head to make eyes.
